Here sat a colorfully dressed Peruvian woman warmly layered from head to foot. She sits and strokes her warmly clothed baby alpaca adorned with a layered colorful necklace. Both wear happy smiles on their faces.

She sings “Baby alpaca…Warm alpaca!”

Looks really hot to me today, as it’s almost 90F here, but lovely shot. 🙂 Or maybe I should say, “Cool shot.”

Incidentally, I’m wearing alpaca socks right now, and am singing “warm feet, no itch, baby alpaca, cool stitch!”

We visited Peru and Bolivia back in the early 2000’s and I doubt much has changed. In the rural areas, a hard life.
