Week 9 – Friday Fitness and Weight Loss Update

Nine weeks, and I’m still writing these updates! For me, keeping a fitness and weight loss journey on my mind this long is a good sign, even if not all weeks were perfect. I went a little hog wild with my eating during my vacation in May, and getting back to better eating has been slow and intermittent, however, I’ve not abandoned the effort. This week’s weight loss results could surprise most, especially if they knew some of what I ate, but various factors can bring surprises. I’m happy to report that I’m finally tracking my eating again, after not doing so during the full course of my recent two-week vacation, and four days after my return.  Those following my updates saw that I gained much more than expected during my time away from home. Weeks 5 & 6 – Friday Fitness and Weight Loss Updates

I’m back! I just returned from a 2-week vacation in Portugal. That is the reason for my delayed (and Monday) posting of my weeks 5 & 6 Friday Fitness and Weight Loss updates. Before I left, I decided that I would not track my eating during my time abroad. It just seemed too difficult given many factors. I did, however, hope to remain mindful of my eating (and drinking) while abroad and to journal about it while away. I didn’t expect to lose any weight during that time, but of course I hoped to perhaps maintain, or at least not gain back too much. Week 4 – Friday Fitness and Weight Loss Update

I’ve just reached the end of my first full 4 weeks on my fitness and weight loss journey! I’m proud to still be writing these updates, and it’s my intention to continue to do so, no matter what my weekly results. Those following these e-mails have seen me consistently lose weight since I started this. Well, this week (or at least half of it), I encountered some challenges that I didn’t have (or barely had) in weeks 1-3. Week 3 – Friday Fitness and Weight Loss Update

I just finished week three of my fitness and weight loss journey! I’m so proud that I’ve remained committed to this endeavor. Actually, after getting past the first two weeks, tracking and staying on plan is getting easier. It’s like less effort, and comes more naturally. Though I know not all weeks will yield weight losses, so far I have lost weight every week since my journey’s start. Week 2 – Friday Fitness and Weight Loss Update

Well, I made it through the second week of my weight-loss and fitness plan. I’m happy to report that I lost weight again! I’ve also come up with some new ideas for these blog post updates. My Fitness and Weight Loss Plan Described

As I promised in my initial post Long haul healthy weight and fitness efforts – creation of a Friday post series, I would decide on a weight loss and fitness plan, and the tool(s) I would use for those efforts. Actually, I sort of knew what these would be when I posted the above-mentioned. That allowed me to begin my journey the next day. Also as promised, I will post a weekly update regardless of whether I lose or gain weight, exercise up a storm, or lay motionless in my bed.
